If this is the first time you are opening the Camera on your mobile app, or if you did not allow Camera permissions before, you will need to do so to enable this capability.
As soon as you tap on the Camera icon from wherever you are within the ExpensePointâ„¢ mobile app, a system message will show up asking you for permission. You can:
- Allow for select photos that you can choose through the Select Photos option
- Allow access to all photos - this will not prompt your permission in the future.
- Don't Allow - you will not be able to take a picture until you choose one of the options above.
If you did not allow the Camera to take pictures the first time by tapping on Don't allow, next time when you open the camera, you will get a notification to adjust your Settings to grant Photos permission to ExpensePointâ„¢:
If you have selected Allow Access to All Photos or the Selected Photos, you will then be prompted to pick the picture(s) from your Camera Roll.
Tap on Done once you've finished selecting it, and the picture will be automatically saved to your Receipt Wallet.
Otherwise, tap on the Settings option from the message, and your Device Settings screen will open to let you adjust the settings.
Tap on Photos:
This will open the options to Allow Photo Access:
- Selected Photos - remember this will allow you to select photos only this time.
- All Photos - this will allow you to choose photos from your phone album anytime in the future.
- None - this will not allow you use the camera and you will get the permissions message again in future.
