Safeguarding your ExpensePoint ™ account is paramount. One fundamental aspect of account security is the ability to change your password.
There are many reasons why a user would need the 'Change Password' feature:
Security. Passwords are a critical component of user account security. Allowing users to change their passwords regularly helps protect their accounts from unauthorized access and potential breaches.
User Convenience. Users may forget their passwords or may want to update them for various reasons. Providing a simple and accessible way to change passwords enhances user convenience and reduces frustration.
Compliance. Many security standards and regulations require organizations to implement password change policies as part of their data protection and compliance efforts.
Password Recovery. In cases where users forget their passwords, the "Change Password" feature often serves as a fallback mechanism to regain access to their accounts.
Security Best Practices. Encouraging users to change their passwords periodically is considered a security best practice to mitigate the risk of password compromise due to factors like data breaches or personal changes.
