Delete GL Segment

Steps to Delete a GL Segment

1. Open Settings Manager
   From the top of your ExpensePoint screen, click the Settings Manager module.
   
   Note: Deleting a segment is not a routine action. ExpensePoint cannot restore a deleted GL segment. Most deletions occur within the segment in the code area.
2. Select GL Segments
   In the left-side navigation menu, select GL Segments.
   
3. Select the Segment
   From the GL Segment List, select the segment you want to delete.
   
4. Select Delete GL Segment
   In the Settings Manager, click on Delete GL Segment from the GL Segments menu on the left side of the screen.
   
5. Confirm Deletion
   A confirmation window will appear asking you to confirm the deletion.
   
   
   1. Type the word "DELETE" to confirm.
   2. Click OK to proceed with deletion.
   3. Click No to cancel the deletion.
6. Result
   Once confirmed, the GL Segment will be permanently removed from the GL Segment list in your workspace.
