GL Segments

If your organization operates multiple branches across different locations, GL Segments are helpful for tracking expenditures consistently and accurately across all sites. Using GL Segments, you can link specific expenses, transactions, and users to their respective segments for better financial oversight. 

 

Steps to View and Manage GL Segments

  1. Open Settings Manager
    From the top of your ExpensePoint screen, click the Settings Manager module.

  2. Access GL Segments
    Select GL Segments from the left-side navigation menu.

  3. Manage GL Segments
    The GL Segments workspace will display all existing segments. From here, you can:
    1. Add a new GL Segment
    2. Edit an existing GL Segment
    3. Delete a GL Segment
    4. Move segments Up or Down in the list
