# Delete Image Cache

Over time, cached images can accumulate and consume significant storage space on your device. **Deleting the image cache** helps free up storage for other applications and files. It can also improve the performance of your app or device. As the cache grows, it can slow down the loading of images and the overall responsiveness of the app. 

To **Delete the Image Cache** from your phone, go to the **Delete Image Cache** option from **Settings**.

**Cached images** may contain sensitive or private information. Deleting the cache can help protect privacy by removing potentially sensitive data. 

In some cases, cached images may become corrupted or cause issues within the app. Deleting the cache can resolve problems related to image loading or display. Clearing the cache can also resolve crashes or freezes associated with cached images.
