Remove Account Lockout
Account Lockout policies, which temporarily or permanently lock user accounts after a certain number of unsuccessful login attempts, serve as a security feature to protect against brute force attacks and unauthorized access. Locking Accounts after a set number of failures makes it significantly more difficult for attackers to succeed.
The Remove Account Lockout is disabled by default.
In case a User has been locked out, due to multiple invalid login attempts it can be unlocked by going to the Remove Account Lockout option from the User Tasks navigation menu.
