Return Cash Advance

Steps to Return a Cash Advance to an Expense Report

  1. Open My Reports
    From the homepage, go to the My Reports module from the Expense navigation tab.

  2. Select the Expense Report
    From the expense list, choose the relevant Expense Report.

  3. Access Return Cash Advance
    Tap the hamburger menu in the upper right corner and select Return Cash Advance.

  4. Enter Return Cash Advance Details
    On the New Return Cash Advance for [Report Name] screen, fill in the following fields:

    1. Date Incurred 

    2. Project/#Code 

    3. Advance Reason 

    4. Additional Notes 

    5. Currency 

    6. Advance Amount 

    7. Converted Total 

    8. Advance Remaining

  5. Save the Return
    Once all required fields are filled in, tap the save icon or select Save from the hamburger menu in the upper right corner.

    Note: All required fields must be filled in order for you to save the return.

  6. Add Comments (optional)
    To add comments to the report, open the hamburger menu and tap the Comments option.

  7. Review Expense Report Totals
    The Expense Report will now reflect all the Expense and Cash Advance operations.

  8. View Settlement Breakdown
    Switch from the Line Item View to the Detail View to see an accurate Settlement Breakdown. This includes:

    1. Cash Advance Issued

    2. Cash Advance Applied

    3. Expenses Total

    4. Amount Due by Company
      Detailed view of settlement breakdown
