Xporter

The Xporter module allows you to create templates in either predefined or customizable formats to export data from ExpensePoint. This can be used for transferring date to to other systems or for your organization’s custom reporting needs. The module defines how data should be structured and organized to ensure smooth transfer or integration between different platforms or software. Using Xporter templates helps maintain data consistency and accuracy throughout the export process, simplifying data use across various applications and systems.

Key Differences Between Xporter and Automation Manager

  • Output Visibility: With Xporter, you must run the report first to view the output. Automation Manager provides visibility of the output data before generating the file.
  • Scheduling and Delivery: Automation Manager allows the scheduling of files or reports and lets you choose how you receive them. Xporter does not have these scheduling or delivery features.

Accessing the Xporter Module

Access the Xporter Module through the More menu in the upper right corner of the screen.

Note: The More menu is not available when you are in the Transaction Manager or Policy Manager modules. To access it, switch to any other module first.
