Xporter

The Xporter module allows you to set up a template in a predefined or customizable format to export data from ExpensePoint™ to another or for your organization’s custom reporting. It specifies how data should be structured and organized for smooth transfer or integration between different platforms or software. Exporter templates help ensure data consistency and accuracy during the export process, making it easier to work with data in various applications or systems.

The main differences between an Xporter and Automation Manager are:

  • Xporter does not have filters that can be applied.
  • With the Xporter you would need to runt the report first before you can see the output.
  • With Automation manager you have great visibility, and you can see the output data before the file is generate.
  • Automation Manager allows you to schedule the file or report you want to receive
  • Automation manager allow you to choose how you get the file/report delivered

To view the files from your Xporter, go to the Xporter module. It is located under the More menu from the upper right corner on the top of your screen.

Note: You will not able to see the More icon/button from the Transaction Manager or Policy Manager. Go to any other module, then click on More from the upper right corner of the screen.
