Re-read Receipt

Sometimes the receipt reader may not accurately capture the details of a receipt, causing issues when adding it to an expense. To fix this, you can enable the re-read function.

Steps to Re-read a Receipt

  1. Access the Receipt Wallet:
    From the Expense tab in the bottom navigation menu, open the Receipt Wallet module.

  2. Select the Receipt to Re-read:
    Tap the hamburger menu and choose the Select option. Select the receipt you want to re-read and tap the Re-read option from the menu.

  3. Alternative Method - From Receipt Details:
    Open the receipt you want to re-read. On the Receipt Details screen, tap the hamburger menu and select the Re-read option

  4. Specify Re-read Parameters:
    A window will appear asking you to confirm which details to re-read:

    1. Vendor

    2. Date Incurred

    3. Total

  5. Submit
    Select the necessary parameters and tap Submit.
    Submit option will appear after parameters are selected

  6. Re-read in Progress
    The OCR re-reading process will start and may take 2-10 minutes

    You can view the status and estimated time of completion during this process.
