Data Columns

To manage the data columns, navigate to the Data Column Tasks navigation menu from the Xporter module.

From this menu, you have the following options:

• Add Data Column
• Edit Data Column
• Delete Data Column
• Move Up
• Move Down

Adding a Data Column

1. Access the Xporter Module
   From the top right corner of the screen, under More, select the Xporter module.
   Note: The More menu is not available when you are in the Transaction Manager or Policy Manager modules. To access it, switch to any other module first.
2. Select Add Data Column
   From the Data Column Tasks navigation menu on the left side of the screen, select the Add Data Column option.
   
3. Xporter Column Editor
   This will open the Xporter Fields window. Select the Data Column from the available list.
   
4. Save the Column
   Click OK to save the new column or Cancel to disregard changes.

Renaming a Data Column

1. Access the Xporter Module
   From the top right corner of the screen, under More, select the Xporter module.
   Note: The More menu is not available when you are in the Transaction Manager or Policy Manager modules. To access it, switch to any other module first.
2. Access Data Column Tasks
   Select the Data Column Tasks option from the Xporter module
3. Select the Data Column
   Click on the Data Column you wish to rename.
4. Select Rename Data Column
   From the Data Column Tasks navigation menu on the left side of the screen, select the Rename Data Column option.
   
5. Xporter Column Editor
   This will open the Xporter Column Editor window. Update the column name in the Column Name field.
   
6. Save the Column
   Click OK to save the changes or Cancel to disregard them.

Removing a Data Column

1. Access the Xporter Module
   From the top right corner of the screen, under More, select the Xporter module.
   Note: The More menu is not available when you are in the Transaction Manager or Policy Manager modules. To access it, switch to any other module first.
2. Access Data Column Tasks
   Select the Data Column Tasks option from the Xporter module
3. Select the Data Column
   Click on the Data Column you wish to remove.
4. Select Remove Data Column
   From the Data Column Tasks navigation menu on the left side of the screen, select the Remove Data Column option.
   
5. Confirm Deletion
   A confirmation window will appear, prompting you to confirm the deletion
   
   Click Yes to confirm and delete the template, or No to cancel the action.

Move Up / Move Down

1. Access Data Column Tasks
   Select the Data Column Tasks option from the Xporter module.
2. Select the Data Column
   Click on the Data Column you wish to move.
3. Move Up or Move Down
   Use the Move Up or Move Down buttons to adjust the position of the selected column in the export file.
