From the ExpensePoint Notification menu, you can customize your notification preferences. If notifications are disabled, you will not receive any alerts from the app.

Types of notifications you may receive:
- Notifications about declined expenses.

- Notifications about imported transactions.
- Notifications about unsubmitted reports.
For Approvers:
- Notifications about reports sent for review.
- Notifications about reassigned expenses.
- Notifications about reports waiting for approval.
Receipt Quality
The Receipt Quality menu allows you to set the image quality when capturing pictures of your receipts. Adjusting this helps ensure that scanned documents or images are clear and easy to read.
You can choose from three options:
- High Quality
- Good Quality
- Grayscale

If your receipts appear unclear, you can improve their quality by adjusting the settings in the Receipt Quality menu.
Higher image quality often results in larger file sizes, which may impact network bandwidth and slow down transmission.
Delete Image Cache
Over time, cached images can accumulate and take up significant storage space on your device. Deleting the image cache helps free up storage for other applications and files, and can improve the performance and responsiveness of the app and your device.
Why Delete Image Cache?
- Free Up Storage: Clearing the cache frees space on your device.
- Improve Performance: Large caches can slow down image loading and overall app responsiveness.
- Protect Privacy: Cached images may contain sensitive or private information, so deleting the cache helps protect your privacy.
- Fix App Issues: Corrupted cached images can cause display problems, crashes, or freezes. Deleting the cache can resolve these issues.

Version Number
App version numbers help you identify whether you have the latest version of the app installed. Knowing your current version allows you to check for updates and access the newest features, improvements, and bug fixes.
If you experience issues with the app, customer support or online forums may request your app version number to provide specific troubleshooting guidance or solutions tailored to your version.
Additionally, older app versions may be more vulnerable to security threats. Keeping your app up to date ensures that you have the latest security patches and protections.
Diagnostic Data
Sending diagnostic data helps developers identify and understand the root causes of app issues. This information is essential for troubleshooting and resolving software bugs or glitches.
To send your diagnostic data, go to the Settings tab from the bottom navigation menu and tap on Diagnostic Data.
You will be asked to confirm if you agree to send the diagnostic data. Tap Send to share the data with our development team.
Diagnostic Data provides valuable insights into how the app performs across different devices and conditions. Developers use this information to optimize app performance and enhance your user experience. Additionally, diagnostic data forms part of user feedback, helping developers understand real-world usage patterns, issues, and user preferences. This information can inform future updates and feature enhancements.
